Sunday 30th July // 4.30pm – 6pm // Main Stage Sian Evans

Sian Evans The Voice of Kosheen

Throughout the 2000s, Welsh singer & songwriter Sian Evans was known for being a front woman and singer-songwriter of the band Kosheen, a popular & well respected trip-hop/drum’n’bass group that, during that decade, placed two albums within the Top Ten of the U.K. album chart. Kosheen had released five studio albums.

In 2011, Sian Evans teamed up with Dj Fresh writing and featuring on the number 1 smash hit ‘Louder’ with sales of over 140,000 in its first week of release and quickly topped the U.K. dance, indie, and pop charts. Since then the single ‘Louder’ has won many awards including the Urban Music Award for best dance single and has been a worldwide hit. She also penned ‘Hot Right Now’ for Rita Ora, providing her with her first ever number 1 hit. A month later, Roger Shah released Openminded!?, an album featuring Evans on a handful of tracks.

Taking a step back from the world of electronic music, Sian has teamed up with her long term writing partner Ron McElroy for her new solo project. Their UK debut sold out Camden Jazz Café. Mixing new works with Sian’s substantial back catalogue (including Kosheen and DJ Fresh), they have brought about a perfect musical storm, with rays of sunlight shining through.

Coldplace have been on the tribute circuit for about seven years now and have firmly established themselves as one of the top tributes in the world. With many memorable shows in our back catalogue, we aim to give the audience a live experience they won’t forget. We don’t just play the songs, we play them with all the feeling they deserve.

Formed in late 2006 in the era of Sam’s Town around the small town of Bury St.Edmunds (Suffolk’s very own Las Vegas)”The Fillers” are the world’s premier tribute to “The Killers” Based in a country where “The Killers” came to fruition we capture the sound look and feel of the Vegas quartet performing tracks from Hot Fuss, Sam’s Town, Sawdust and Day & Age and also Brandon Flowers solo album “Flamingo”.

The Rolling Clones

There are no better guardians of the back catalogue of hits from The Rolling Stones, one of the greatest rock n roll acts of all time. There are no better deliverers of vibrancy, edginess, masterly musicianship and charisma on the tribute circuit, and all this by the strutting, trout-pouting Jaggernaut-load. There is no better way to experience vintage juice from the best fruit on the rock n roll tree: ladies and gentleman, we bring you The Rollin Clones.

Ed Sheeran Experience

Jack Shepherd is an exceptional impersonator traveling worldwide to perform an amazing live replica of Ed Sheeran’s live shows. Jack is as Ed Sheeran a multi-talented musician, a full one-man band. He’s the world’s only Ed Sheeran impersonator to actually recreate a full live performance. Obviously the similar looks, the same age and even down to the same shoe size improve the whole experience.

In July 2007, Tania began her unique and authentic tribute to the multi-award winning vocalist Amy Winehouse, not only whipping up a frenzy in her home country (UK), but also taking the rest of the world by storm!

Ouse Valley Singles Club

The Ouse Valley Singles Club is a comedy skiffle band from the market town of Bedford. Their musical roots are sprung straight out of the 1950’s Skiffle scene. This traditional sound is combined with the energy of Punk and the swing of Rock and Roll. And they then layer that with naughty saucy postcard lyrics in true folk story telling fashion.

The band Features Sam Tanner, Craig Alexander and Darren Hodson; A combined musical force like no other. Willing to take on any song and make it their own…

Together since 2007 and tearing up stages all over Europe with their eclectic “Wall Of Sound“. BB3 are a distinct trio that bring a big sound with even bigger harmonies. A powerful and unique live experience that will get you shaking all night long; to their fun all killer – no filler setlist!

Jimmy Pithe aka Jim Etherington

It is virtually impossible to pigeon hole the type of music Jim Etherington plays because it includes Rock, Blues, Country, Reggae and South American as well as traditional Irish, English and even Greek; it also spans the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s right through to current hits. He’s an absolute stalwart of the south coast music scene with a well-deserved, huge following.

BIG HOOKS. BIG RIFFS. BIGGER HAIR! Saints Of Sin have been delivering their brand of excessive Hard Rock debauchery since 2013 and the party hasn’t stopped yet! The motley crew of lost boys features brothers Marcus ‘Sparxx’ Jenkins on guitar and Ash Jenkins on bass, Rui Brito on vocals, Josh Rose on Drums and, newest member, Sophie Burrell on guitar

Black Water County

Based in Dorset, this band has been brewing their folk-rock concoction since 2013. They are most at home in the grassy fields of a festival and on stage they give it everything. Their past festival endeavours include Boomtown Fair, Camp Bestival, The Great Dorset Steam Fair, Wessex Folk Festival, Outcider Festival, Wimborne Folk Festival and Bournemouth Sevens.

Stacie Leighann Album launch

Stacey Leighann’s beautifully haunting qualities and emotive tone enrich her vocals, leaving you captivated and in awe. Signed with AM STUDIOS, Stacey has been building her fan base regularly charting at top 50 in UK charts with over 6,000 views on and 4,500 plays of her music on Reverbnation and youtube.

Signed with AM STUDIOS Stacey has recently returned from taking her career stateside. She worked with an LA based Grammy nominated producer on her first debut single house of cards, available on SPOTIFY and ITUNES, also a music video can be seen on youtube.

Remedy Sounds is an English dubstep/acoustic musician who makes special use of loop pedals to create his sound. He has shared a stage with such acts as Chase and Status, Labrinth, Chipmunk & Macy Gray to name a few, you are going to LOVE this guy.

Tom Clements

Tom Clements has appeared on festival line ups alongside artists such as Seth Lakeman, The Levellers, Steve Knightly and The Hoosiers to name a few. Tom’s profile is forever increasing, appearing on BBC Wiltshire’s Live Lounge and BBC Introducing Solent, furthermore headlining the Acoustic stage at Teddy Rocks 2017. Tom’s latest album ‘Roots, Morals & other life choices’ have received rave reviews and become his best-selling release to date.

Mischa & His Merry Men are a lively collective of talented musicians coming together from around the country and so far with over 25 members, spanning 18 instruments. Over the last 2 years they’ve notched up over 60 line-up combos, making many of their performances completely unique shows. Seeing and hearing is believing!

If you like your music distinctly 60s, then this is the trio for you. Celebrating a glorious decade in music and great musicianship to boot! Performing most weekends in the South’s best music hotspots, such as Poole Quay, The New Beats draw a large crowd of supporters in fans who enjoy the warm and electric atmosphere the band bring.

Tim Somefield Afro Ninja

Tim is a remarkable loop pedal wielding singer songwriter based in the UK, come and check out the Afro Ninja in action. One of the hardest working musicians in the area, he has performed over 1000 shows in the past 4 years alone, and boasts an enormous repertoire. He also has the kind of diversity and musical flexibility few can match. Prepare to have your mind well and truly blown.

The Wooden Spoons

The Wooden Spoons are an alternative blues band from Bournemouth. Rachel Ann, who you may recognise from last year’s ‘The Voice UK’, fronts the group. Tristan Apperley and Jack Cotton make a mean rhythm section, with Caine Greenslade on lead guitar. The band’s music ranges from Louis Armstrong to Led Zeppelin, with original music in the style of heavy blues. Right up our street!

Innocent Bystander

Innocent Bystander are a Bournemouth based, female fronted acoustic duo, playing a wide variety of up-tempo and laid back tunes from artists as diverse as Led Zeppelin and AC/DC to Beyonce and Adele.

First formed as a University band in Wolverhampton back in 1991, Frank kept the Bystander name on the back burner until November 2013, when the opportunity arose to reincarnate the band as an acoustic duo.

Emma Hardy

We are excited to welcome the very talented Emma, back to our stage. She is currently playing on the local open mic circuit and looking forward to performing at this larger event. She was booked at Teddy Rocks this year on the acoustic stage and she will be involved in the “Bournemouth Summer Live” events, together with numerous other charity and local events. (one not to be missed)

Steve Brookstein

Steve Brookstein rose to fame after winning X-FACTOR and followed this success with a UK number 1 single and a UK number 1 album. Steve has since duetted with Grammy Award winners and released an autobiography, which rose to number 1 on the Kindle Biography chart and was received well by critics and readers alike.

Steve Brookstein is an English singer/songwriter and the first ever winner of The X Factor with a record 6 million votes in one night that resulted in both a number one album and single.

He has completed three UK tours including an arena tour with X Factor and two theatre tours, one of which was with the award winning musical Our House Musical. He has duetted with multi Grammy Award winner BeBe Winans, reggae artist, Maxi Priest and jazz award winners Ian Shaw and Liane Carroll.

Steve has released three studio third albums and is currently working on his forth. His autobiography “Getting Over The X” released through Matador Publishing has done amazingly well getting to Number 1 in the Kindle Biography Chart.

Count Backwards Children’s Show – Punch Entertainment brings you Count Backwards, with Magic Shows with a difference. With over 30 years in the entertainment business, including many years overseas we welcome the Count and his crazy antics and choreography to the kid’s stage.

Scapa South Coast Academy of Performing Arts

The South Coast Academy for the Performing Arts (SCAPA) began in 2009 and has been gaining in popularity ever since. Their company mission statement is “to nurture, encourage and develop confidence, to enjoy and achieve” SCAPA delivers a full-scale production at the end of every summer term, they also hold a Christmas showcase and numerous holiday workshops where kids can really hone their skills or just be part of something really fun! SCAPA is the brainchild of Jo Michaels, who has some 30 years’ experience in the business, both as a performer and as a teacher.

SBLAS Production

Principal and Managing Director Miss Maria Marra established Shining Bright Like A Star in 2011 with a modern vision on Singing, Acting and Dancing, realising the vast need in the community for affordable Professional, and smaller classes. Since the launch in 2011, SBLAS have seen a tremendous success. The name Shining Bright Like A Star originated for a younger audience of children ages 3-8, as this was the vision.

Simon Chainey (Cirus Workshops & Fire Show)

Simon Chainey is an accomplished performer based in Bournemouth. Several years ago Simon turned his love of circus skills from a hobby into a full time profession by founding FLAME, a group of performers specialising in high-energy fire shows. More recently Simon has diversified into street performing and uses his incredible skill and stage presence to great effect… Time to get up close and personal (and hopefully not TOO hot!)
